Also, considering they are half-siblings, yeah. I can see that as an issue, and I agree with that.
But overall, a lot of Hollow Knight's lore is vague, in the sense that there are pieces missing in the much larger puzzle. So, overall, people can be either right, wrong, or both, as there is always going to be a different interpretation for it.
I can see that reasoning, though I don't think Ghost is a child, and is just short, considering we aren't really sure how Hollow was able to just grow up in a couple of days if I believe the Pale King's own writings are to be believed (as not sure if it was the Pale King who talked about it or not).
Random people who are behind the screen end up being a lot more comfortable saying the most messed up things to people on the internet because they know they can get away with it. Which is something that shouldn't be happening, and it sucks that it does. And is unfortunate that it happened to you.
