8. Princess Daisy from Mario. I flip flop a lot on who my favorite princess is from Mario, and although I really like Rosalina, I gotta go with Daisy. I've always played her in the Mario Party's and Mario sports games over the years, so I gotta pick her. Also like how Nintendo's made her tan again.
7. Reisalin "Ryza" Stout from Atelier. I'm a sucker for a good 'ol adventurer character, and Ryza fits that bill. She's overeager at times, but that doesn't overshadow her kindness and wanting to do good in her world. And yes, I'm all aware of the memes surrounding her, and they make me laugh.
6. Narmaya from Granblue Fantasy. Narmaya is cute, cute! I've always loved someone who's cutthroat and ruthless to get their goals, and yet at the same time is caring to those loyal to them. Again, credit goes to @vgcw.bsky.social for introducing me to her.
5. Siege from Arknights. There's something about Siege's design that really works for me. White t-shirt with red shorts and a biker jacket is a good combination in my book. Plus she likes lollipops, and a good lollipop is one of the greatest candies you can have.
4. Crash Bandicoot from Crash Bandicoot. I've always preferred Spyro to Crash by a hair, but I still like Crash a lot. How could you not like this goofy orange idiot? There's something about a lovable idiot in any medium that draws me in. Crash's backstory is also interesting in a sad kinda way.
3. Cube from Jet Set Radio / Jet Grind Radio. Gothic skater girl? Yes please. Gotta give credit to @vgcw.bsky.social for introducing Cube to me, and her design won me over immediately. I like her outfit in JSRF too, but I do slightly prefer her original look. Dunno if that's a hot take or not.
2. Ángel from The King of Fighters. I've made it no secret that I love badass biker chicks, and Ángel ticks all of those boxes for me and then some. Thankful everyday that Evoga won that contest over BrezzaSoft that allowed the character to exist.
1. Spyro the Dragon from Spyro the Dragon. The first character in any medium that I fell in love with. I love dragons and as a wee bab, Spyro's look instantly hooked me, and I've loved the character and his games ever since.
