This is stupid but do wonder if the future of rendering games could be like a super DLSS; the game isn’t a package of art assets but a ML model of the game world (kinda like a hologram), and the renderer is using that and the game state to render the view.

A few years ago a fellow printmaker invited me to sell art at her Asheville Print Studio & Gallery. I’ve watched all the great art shows & community based events on social media. I sent her an email to check if she’s staying safe. No power or water for 3 days & 15 ft of water in the studio!
