Palladium games, Rifts in particular is a great setting in search of more coherent rules. I wonder how well the Savage World's adaptation was?

3.5 is very streamlined. There are only complexities in character creation, if you engage with the VAST library of content that exists. IMHO of course.

I'd say that's a gentle interpretation of the reality of the sheer assault that Palladium rules seem to be.

This is accidentally, ironically and tragically all too accurate. Sacrifice long term viability for short term gain. This applies in environmental issues, corporate ideology and employment. I'm about to go on strike against Canada Post, and this is one of the biggest problems with my employer.
