On Monday, Israeli forces carried out limited raids in Lebanon, according to an Israeli familiar with the operation.
I started inching my way into this field in the aftermath of Harriri’s assassination and war in 2006. I never made it to Lebanon, but built a network of friends there or from there, and then watch the country get kicked in the teeth again and again and your heart just breaks.
It seems obvious to me they sincerely thought he had a shot at the national stage. And they’ve seen from Trump that Americans will occasionally elect corrupt buffoons from New York City. This wasn’t just about fire codes and the Armenian Genocide.
What to say about the Adams indictment and Turkey? Erdogan is cash-in-shoe boxes levels of corrupt and somehow Adams makes him look prudent.
