One of the reasons the #Angular team would want to move away from decorators and lean toward using helper functions for Signals IO is: type safety. How about using less non-null assertions? This is how our components could look like soon ! Who wants more type safety ?? 🙋‍♀️🙋🙋‍♂️

But decorators were useful, to locate the inputs in a component. You could immediately see the input and output of a component. Now it will be less clear, at first glance of the code.
