For those of you who have seen me rocking my particolor tights at conferences, I am super excited that Snag has decided to bring them back—and with a new range of colors! Get your own pair(s) and maybe they'll keep catering to the medievalist crowd in future 😂 snagtights.com/collections/...
!!! What's this, a CfP for the most fun and friendly little conference ever? Yes it is! (And with a fantastic theme this year to boot.) Spread the word, submit a paper, come along!
They've been shipping outside the US for years (I've only ever ordered from Europe), but I really don't know how I'll dress myself for work now 😬
Well I guess I am a medievalist, so...! (Thanks for putting these together, Matt)
Excellent short thread on historical detective work!

During the pandemic I started writing one article, realized it was going to be too long, split it and ended up with two articles of 15,000 words each 😅 While I admit some of this is prose style, I've learned I just don't think well within short formats ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
::cries desperately into the void:: does there happen to be anyone at the Archives nationales in Paris this week who could take a photo of one document for me? 🥹
I’m very sad to announce that Jinty Nelson died yesterday - quickly and peacefully with her family. A great historian and a truly wonderful person.
