Researching in 18th century dictionaries, looking for "judicial"... Stumble on "Jews-ears, n., a fungus." And "Jews-mallow, n., an herb." Not sure what to make of that, but I hope they're both delicious. Or performance enhancing. Or spiritually psychedelic.
