My perhaps unfair opinion is that Twitter's downward spiral began when journos joined it and gathered in their little cliques defending each other against the riff raff and hoi polloi; writing the occasional column patronising the chattering classes for daring to have their own opinions.

No one hates you. They just think you're stupid.

Because of the responses I can only assume that @jemima.bsky.social wrote in her column that everyone must be friends with nazis.
