I love that this pedagogy book I'm reading is talking about having students use tumblr as a blog to promote informal writing and I just can't help but giggle every time tumblr gets mentioned in a scholarly fashion.
I swear I'll spend at least one day this fall break not doing anything related to work. Maybe I'll finally beat ME3 instead of reading Garrus/female!Shepard fanfic. 🤔

This has been a week and I am so ready for Fall Break. ...that I'll be spending working because lol, yay adulthood.
It’s not a failure. It’s a policy. Just like any other policy over the last few decades, it’s a loan that’s meant to be paid by future generations and by the less fortunate. This IS the system, and it’s working. Which means the solution is changing the system itself.
Ok, so maybe I didn't get 100% of what I wanted to get done this weekend done, but man, I feel so much more focused today after ignoring work all day yesterday.

Belated birthday lunch with @barbiejedi.bsky.social and Bobby was a wonderful way to celebrate. And omg the ramen was good. I'm gonna have to recommend it to my NYC friends because lol, the place we went to exists in Georgia and in NYC. I kinda love that.
