I am sadly unsurprised that our "government" is buying the tech equivalent of the Emperor's New Clothes. THis could rank up their with the Tories using Covid to sabotage the NHS and profiteer in the scale of the disaster. Or it could be even worse.

If we slash red tape and innovate fast enough we can have a new Grenfell every week.

Jeez. Smacks of press officers and/or spads looking for a sexy "unlock innovation" hook to make regulatory reform more newsworthy.

Just get the AI to identify the red tape and suggest what should be removed or approved. Easy!
