This is the kind of survey I’ll open and close a dozen times, angry about the survey design and how the data will likely be used but ultimately know I should complete it in the hopes of an open text response where I can really share my thoughts.

Discovered this left in the department’s photocopier. It’s strangely aggressive yet to the point. Also curious: who needs multiple copies of this?! Surely one is sufficient?

I don't think we have a definition at my institution. Does senior = full prof or equivalent? I do feel the "senior faculty" concept is used to guilt female full profs into doing more service and admin.
Today's word is obfuscation, the act of making something unclear or unintelligible. That is how I currently feel about health insurance and billing in the US. Deliberately unclear.
