Being a doomer is lame but I'm also coming to terms with the fact that we're likely to just be in an ambiently reactionary and hostile society for the rest of my life and I must develop good means of coping with this

One of the things I believe no matter what - and what personally brings me calm - is that life, and love, and art, always finds a way even through shitty times. So there will always be something true about our world. No force in the universe can ever stamp it all the way out.
