And weirdly, azithromycin has antiinflammatory effects in the lungs and can help a lot even if the culprit bacteria isn't "vulnerable." That and high doses of magnesium helped a lot. The gut pain isn't great but is short lived for me.
Feel free to ditch if not useful, but I have MCAS and ME/CFS and had a lot of respiratory/sinus issues for a long time. For lingering crud, few things have been more helpful than elderberry. I add a small amount of concentrated juice to my drink du jour only when sick.
The food we eat at home is generally superior nutritionally and flavor-wise to what we could get at restaurants. Then again I am privileged to live in a household where most of us are very good cooks. Plus, the food we make at home doesn't usually give me migraines or digestive issues.
I have a clipping on my fridge that is just a headline that states "Home cooking is destroying the restaurant industry" I cannot eat in most restaurants. My immune system is shit and I have too many food triggers to risk it.
