I think about this often, since I work in a grocery store. As a consumer, I look for the best price per sq. ft. Otherwise, it's just nonsense.
All the others are multiplications/deductions of 4 except one where large rolls are "extra large" So actually it's quite consistent
That looks like something prof. Hannah Fry should explain.
And don’t forget to factor in the width of the roll, oh, and the number of sheets!
They should sell it by weight. Then you know how much paper you actually get.
