Toilet paper math is harder than algebra.
A few pictures of toilet paper packaging with texts such as “9 mega = 36”, “18 mega = 72 regular rolls”, “24 family mega = 123 regular”, 8 mega = 72”….

I think about this often, since I work in a grocery store. As a consumer, I look for the best price per sq. ft. Otherwise, it's just nonsense.

All the others are multiplications/deductions of 4 except one where large rolls are "extra large" So actually it's quite consistent
