Saw where an influencer offered up $70k to anyone who would t evacuate and instead livestream Hurricane Milton hitting them. At least one took him up on it and he’s got an umbrella, an air mattress and some ramen to eat. That’s it. I don’t think sci/fi ever came up with something so dystopian.

In dystopia part 2, the live streamer has now found out he won’t be paid as the influencer really wants people to evacuate. Or his lawyers really want people to evacuate. Unclear if dude has evacuated or has instead died.
