I hate this narrative so much. 'Oh, they were starving for years, so they were a REAL artist.' 'Meh, they sold the rights to their song to make a commercial, they SOLD OUT.' Nope. People should get paid for their work.

As with Ohio's AG, who checks the identical list of boxes.

Worse than soup: roof-of-the-mouth hot cheese burn anytime they eat pizza.

Check out The Spellking's Heir, the first volume of the Heirs of Hyarch fantasy web serial! Four young men and women are drawn together as secrets from the past emerge to threaten their home, some as old as the kingdom itself... Find it here: books2read.com/u/b5gxGG

The front cover of Heirs of Hyarch Book One: The Spellking's Heir by Chris Mitchell. The cover shows a medieval town with a strange pillar of energy erupting from the ground in the town's center.

mine: SONG OF THE WOLF is an epic fantasy with a side of romance & politics! Bodyguard x royal go on a road trip to save the kingdom except technically the royal broke her bodyguard out of jail. books2read.com/songofthewolf

A quote graphic for Song of the Wolf which reads "you have been on the throne for less than a year. If someone wants you dead this quickly, something is amiss. I'd like to find out what." The last line is bolded and written in larger font to emphasise it. The background is of an orange, starry night sky with a silhouette of some trees in the bottom left corner. The bottom right corner has a paperback mockup for Song of the Wolf backed by four silver claw marks. A line underneat the main quote attributes it to 'Song of the Wolf'. The plain text and quotation marks are coloured silvery-white.

I'll start with my own! It Will Hurt is a contemporary queer story about Nico, a young man with bipolar disorder discovering his bisexuality in the underground death metal scene of a university town in 2010s Germany. mybook.to/ItWillHurt

The cover art of "It Will Hurt", with the title in large, red, graffiti-like letters dominating the center. Above it, in purple all caps, the author's name "Anya K. Jordan", and below the subtitle "Queer Love in a Death Metal World".
Behind the letters are the dark blue outlines of two men holding hands on what appears to be a stage, in front of the black outlines of the raised hands of a crowd with some of them doing the "metal horns" hand symbol.

Pan deuteragonist with an Indiana Jones hat, a big ego, a dark backstory he doesn't tell anyone, and an infamous mentor. Romance and friendship are both dead set on humanizing him. books2read.com/u/4N8dBW

Against a starry nighttime sky, 3 bookcovers. Books are The Spider’s Friend, the Serpent’s Son, The Scarab’s Siblings. Text over images reads: ‘A charming rogue/ one of the narrators is a plant/ nifty magic! Zealous bison!/ a world filled with novel peoples/ a family feud turned deadly/ bison!’

"Just, just gimme a sec to back it out of my living room, where it wound up parked after hitting the breaks in my driveway caused it to accelerate."
