Also! I made brown butter hojicha cookies with and without white choc chips. Steve helped me toast the hojicha tea leaves and then ground them up with a mortar and pestle. I love baking!!!! It is my love language for sure

here’s da cake I baked for the function yesterday!!!! I put my own twist on a cappuccino cake recipe I found online- I added cocoa powder to the crumb and added Oreos to the outside. It was my first time ever working with buttercream- piping is my new fav activity 🤌🏻

OK I just crumb coated this thing and i don’t wanna jinx it but this may be one of the best things I’ve ever baked….the buttercream I made for the first time slaps extremely hard (it’s espresso flavored). Now I just gotta decorate and make it pretty which is the ez part >:^)
