i personally think the entire reason mitt romney is sitting this election out is because he fully bought into the narrative that his treatment by democrats in 2012 led to trump in 2016, and he's waiting for an apology that will never come

Interestingly and impressively, his campaign strategist, Stuart Stevens, is one of the most incisive anti-Trump (and pro-Harris) people out there.
