Coates expresses the simplicity of opposing apartheid so well. Israel’s defenders twist themselves in knots to come up with the reasoning for (or denial of) apartheid, but there is no defense. There is no current or historical fact that can make it acceptable.
I cannot get past CBS News' Tony Dokoupil telling Ta-Nehisi Coates he's an extremist for writing about Israel's segregationist regime. Then asked him, a child of Black parents who were raised in Jim Crowe America, why he doesn't support Israel's apartheid. GENUINELY bizarre interview.
