This is the way. The only kids albums we ever allowed were like TMBG and a little Raffi. (Not even a lot of Raffi tbh.) Turns out babies & kids like real music just fine, with the bonus of it not inspiring a desire in every nearby adult to cast all music playing devices into the sea forever

I had one of those for years and I kept using it for deep frying until my spouse (chief household dishwashing officer) finally staged a rebellion and demanded a change; this is SO MUCH EASIER to clean 😅

I use this specific kitchenaid spider for SO many things, it’s bigger than a slotted spoon but more permeable than a skimmer!

Alternatively paint marker works well on stuff that gets scrubbed and washed. I have the weight in grams of all my cake pans written in paint marker on the bottom (for even batter distribution) and the quart capacity on all my weird casserole dishes. Lasts years!

Another way to manage this is to use a spider to scoop pasta directly from the boiling water to the finishing sauce pot. Enough water tends to cling to emulsify the sauce plus you don’t have to lift a pot of water around
