it's extremely blinkered. How could a task force like ITAC miss the other recent terrorism here?! Or are they trying to separate it because those perpetrators had a singular focus/justification to their attacks? (which doesn't excuse the "first incidence of political violence" ignorance)
Given that they put quotes around the word genocide when speaking of Gaza, perhaps the author thinks that violence is only political when BIPOC do it.
