really the first year post dissertation is processing every single thing that happened to you in grad school!

I still haven't recovered from the 2021 blackout tbh

I don't claim to be perfect (or the only voice in a polysemic conversation), but my expertise stands out very early on in my career for a reason. There's a reason my scholarship has impact and reach. I will never apologise for that!

also, calling an R2 faculty's scholarship "grad student work" feels entirely pointed... and reveals how little some of us respect graduate student and early career labour. (even when you're an ECR too!)

I actually might be back in town again then! will definitely attend if I'm around.
