I have sheets that are 5+ decades old that are the best sheets. They were a wedding gift to my parents and they are phenomenal. I don’t put them in the dryer, I line dry them (even in winter in Ohio) and the are a perfect mix of worn in softness and line dried crispness
This! It's that combo that makes a perfect sheet.
