Okay, now that it’s the day after, and nobody else seems to have said this, I’ll go ahead and chime in: It was lame that Rapinoe’s #15 did not actually ascend to the rafters at Lumen Field yesterday. #nwsl#reignfc

Like how hard would it have been to put up a banner somewhere… anywhere… in that vast 67,000 seat cavern and do a dramatic reveal (ie. we take the plastic garbage bag covering this banner off with great pomp and circumstance!) Even ‘Pinoe herself kinda alluded to this lameness in her speech… sigh.
