I really don't understand the stance he keeps taking that 3rd party apps take more value from reddit than they add. What users does he think actually add value to reddit? I'd bet money that the lurker/poster split is not the same across different interfaces.

It’s also completely crazy to say they cost the company $10M in infra a year when of course if those users are still making requests etc on the website or their app it costs the same! Lmao
