Also, painting is fun. If you're not enjoying the time you put into it, maybe don't enter painting competitions. 10, 100 or even 300 hours can be what it takes to produce a competition piece. If you're not having fun, do something you enjoy instead.
This is so true. I haven't painted many competition pieces, but each one has dramatically improved how I approach display painting. Time spent seeking and working towards perfection may not be given a prize, but it won't be wasted.
Spearhead night last night. SBG vs KO. KO aren't in a good place. Pic shows right before the charge phase in my turn 1. Both charges failed. Blood knights were wiped out after 2 turns but Arknaut Companies were wiped out on the same time by skeletons. Top of turn 3 KO wiped off the board.
Oh hells yes, that's awesome!
It's the hord of skeletons that make up for me only having blood knights as a hammer. They work hard and they play hard. #AgeOfSigmar
More of my army. These are all from Cursed City and only Torgilius gets much use on the table. #Warhammer
Some more of my army. My army is currently made up of the Vengorian Court box, a Spearhead and minis from Cursed City and Underworlds
I don't keep up much on social media. We'll see if here's any different. I'm currently heavily obsessed with Soulblight Gravelords in AoS. So here's some shots of my army.
