🔸The lull may be over sooner than most of us hoped in the US due to "FLiRT". Infections are expected to start rising again after bottoming out in late April. New 6 Week Forecast: ⚠️Recent seq data has been poor, so timing and significance of FLiRT carries some uncertainty.

there was a big uptick on the west coast in late-May/early-June. if you went into the office, you got COVID.

Got off an Alaskan cruise 1 week ago in Vancouver and my husband and I were both symptomatic and COVID positive. Anecdotally via a Facebook group, many others on same cruise were also positive.

Same anecdata here, I seem to know a lot of people on both coasts who've gotten it in the last two months, starting mostly on the west coast. And also my mom just got it a week ago in Germany, and a family friend got it flying back from Italy All over it feels like, but available stats aren't wild

I work in this area. While I cannot provide too many details, international clinical groups are seeing modest upticks in test positivity rates worldwide.
