But definitely it would be better if the police could provide the name of the bank in Estonia, it will most likely be LHV or Swedbank, which are also very quick to try solving situations like this. I hope your friend can get their money back!

I don't actually know the details (or whether he knows them) but the problem is apparently that the money was sent onwards from this account, and presumably transferred into cryptocurrency in subsequent steps. But that's all just an assumption by the police, at least it seems like that to me.
