Denny is more or less right. (Based on my very humble opinion over eight-ish years of being “very good” in my home leagues). Also, format matters. Are you PPR—and you should be—well that makes pass catchers even more valuable. Do you get the yardage for for punt returns? Probably a WR.

That said, if you lock up a dominant pair of RBs who miraculously don’t get injured all season… well that can work too. Anyway, I guess my advice would be to a) pick players you care about outside of stats or upside. It makes the “game” so much more fun, and (b) specialize. No RB, TE heavy, Etc
