I was adding that screenshot to my Facebook story just now, and had to delete it and upload again TWICE because Facebook adds a dumb song after I explicitly tell it not to add a song and it's so on the nose it's sickening. Hell world
Don’t forget how many normal, often entry-level jobs this did away with. Live people answering phones! Just that! Even when I was in college in the early 2000s that was a viable part-time job
The only hope is to stay online, but get away from big tech. I use Brave Search instead of Google consciously for that purpose.
The media are just as culpable at tech companies. I'm not jaded with tech because Theranos and FTX were scams, but because the media regurgitated their lies for years without challenge or critique. It's welcome to see some critical, independent thought going back into tech journalism.
All of which could be regulated out of existence.
