And what the hell is a "Republican operative" and why are they quoting this creature? Actually, what didn't they just let the GOP Freedom Caucus write the whole damned thing.
Quoting a "republican operative" probably means "I heard this from some right-wing rando on a group Zoom call; didn't get his name."
