I feel like removing the ellipses takes away the wordless-ness of the character. At least to me, that’s what the ellipses represent. In this version she’s just quiet for a while. With ellipses she’s actively wordless.
Not to mention it’s 99% positive and none of that fear mongering alt-right lite to full on far right grifting. It’s been a blissful week, moving to over here. And as a bonus? Heaps of new indie devs/games as well artists. And cute animals. A win/win really.
The majority of cases where there’s a complaint about “wokeness”, it’s like this. From TLoU to Dragon Age, from Horizon to God of War, from Spider-Man to Baldur’s Gate. It’s always just different representation causing some ignorant folk to go full on bonkers.
99% of the time it’s not “stuffing down our throats”, it’s simply having a non-white and/or non-straight characters. Hell, ppl are complaining about the female dwarves in the new Dragon Age having Adam’s apples as a proof that the game is pushing some “trans ideology”. It’s silly is what it is.
Haha, had same reaction. Makes me wonder, could one go deeper and make a 3D model that has something similar to reflective tape at the edges of models. 🤔 An Escape from New York-homage but in 3D form, a low budget cell shading knock off. Reckon it wouldn’t work great but could be heaps of fun. :D

The “holographic map” of Escape From New York is one of the coolest little tom fooleries I know when it comes to film SFX. And it looks grand as, even today. Longwinded way of saying great choice of inspiration AND fantastic work on the model itself. ✌🏼
Absolutely. Tastes in genre is fine but if you immediately get grumpy when there’s women/POC/LGBTQ in a game or film or series, it’s time to take a looong, strong look in the mirror. But I guess I do appreciate them dropping their mask so I know who I’m dealing with, at least.
Give Returnal a go. Perhaps the best use of the DS5 alongside Astro Bot. It’s a tough game though, but if you’re into challenges, it’ll take you for a wild ride. Was my personal GOTY 2021.
