it is just not the same kind of issue. Even uncollared cats wandering around mostly bring me joy. They don’t threaten me. They don’t get in my space. They don’t grab at my food. I was specifically complaining about mess and unleashed pets in an apt — it is not the same

I disagree with all sorts of things people do with their pets but if they don’t personally impact me I largely keep my peace. What I am irritated about is the sense of entitlement dog owners seem to have about everyone else’s space, comfort and even just basic decency.
