I know from my own MidEast family history the repercussions global conflicts can have on local biographies. The image is from the 1880s and shows my step-greatgrandmother Fanny as pupil in the Anglican orphanage for Jewish girls in Constantinople.

Es gibt etliche Menschen mit arabischem Hintergrund die auch so denken. Nur die Deutschen sind mal wieder „türkischer als der Türke“, in die eine oder andere Extremrichting. Hauptsache Empathielosigkeit und Rechthaberei.
