Does anyone else get excited when they get copyedits and feel like they have to finish them right away? It's like coasting downhill at the end of a long bike ride. . .
One wonderful thing to realize is how a book is the beginning, not the end, of a conversation, despite early tendencies to believe the contrary (and the pressures of that while writing). Just a reminder for those writing dissertations and books and feeling their weight.
