Even Nazism paid lip service to a utopian future, where Germans conquer Europe (and probably the rest of the world) and the German people would live in grand cities and benefit from technology (and also be forced to engage in large scale gladiator battles, but let's not focus on that).

Yeah, like, that's the biggest failure of Trumpism and associates as a fascist movement- there's no upside to their story, it's just "Things are horrible, let's be even more horrible but it's okay because the people who will suffer deserve it."
