The thing is that "they" and "weather experts" are generally working off of incorrect models that have been adjusted to allow for climate crisis changes. ie: current NYSDEC models don't reflect our extended drought or dropping water table bc they're using 2000-2010 as a baseline.

Yeah I think we’ve been a desert climate for the last half century at least, but for the 10 years they built our model on from the 70s. But even that is abnormal, the Redwoods are all gonna die off in the next century and some of them are thousands of years old, born from other thousand year olds
