"Petroglyphs" An illustration I did for Masks of the Miscam, Book 2 of the Noss Saga. I unadvisedly chose a line hatching style that fully embraces carpal tunnel.

An old man wearing scant but colorful robes holds up an ammonite-decorated cane to cast a shadow on a wall covered in cryptic petroglyphs. He is holding a lamp with a green flame and is facing toward the wall, looking frail and ancient, his long gray hair and beard draping. The eighteen glyphs on the wall are arranged in a hexagonal pattern. There are runes all across the rocks of the dark cavern.
