The most fascinating aspect of the band is knowing that The Recognitions, their third, was created amidst the breakdown of their relationship and completed together after their divorce. Their relationship recorded. A full stop, recognised.

I'm always fascinated by the biography of an Artist. Eximusic was birthed in the year of the musicians' marriage and their first albums were promoted alongside the fairytale imagery of their relationship, their chance encounter on a train, love letters written between countries.

I first heard Joanna Newsom in 2005. She has released 3 albums between then and now, 8 years since her last, another on the horizon. Like bells beneath the sea, each song is so deep, and I am not ready for anymore music right now. I need another 8 years.

Are you ready to play the hottest game of the year? My copy came unpunched, with its original DO NOT EAT silica gel from 1991. It's hard to see from the photo, but the board is recessed for the wooden components; decades ahead of its time.
