My fantasy is that if Harris manages to beat the Electoral College she lets Jack Smith win the convictions, waits till sentencing then pardons on the condition he goes away. Then go after all the SC justices put on the bench by a convict.

I absolutely do NOT want him pardoned. Pardoning Nixon is what got us here. I agree with prosecuting Alito, Thomas, and anyone else Leonard Leo bought and put on the court

While “exile” is a traditional way to deal with people like him it is dangerous (he stole secrets) and stripping citizenship (a necessity) wouldn’t get past SCOTUS and he doesn’t keep his promises. That leaves prison. But he should have been removed from office, and publicly hanged on January 7.

She would be an idiot to pardon him. Part of the problem in this country is failing to hold the powerful to account.

Pardon him? If he promises to go away? Are you daft? You're going to take him at his word? Put him in a supermax, for his own protection, of course, and forget he ever existed. He'll NEVER go away on his own. He'd leave for Russia and grind out his grudges, working against the US from there.
