So...since I've been sharing photos of me climbing, I thought I'd share the opening to the "climbing" book I have under submission right now...which was inspired by the beyond amazing Lydia Brady and her historic 1st ever summit of Everest for a woman not using supplemental oxygen....

The narrative has documents between every chapter that help tell the story. This is the first page.... Just as the mountains were meant to be climbed, we were destined to be friends.   You wrote that in your first letter. I was pretty sure you were making fun of me and vowed not to write back.
