Of course and thanks! But it’s a good point — a criticism I have of the college policy format is that while you can’t write someone’s speech, the times work such that a negative can mostly sideline one partner & debate functionally alone which mitigates a lot of the partnership benefits
You would never have time to script things for someone else. The value of the partnership is that you have to learn to rely on someone else and to explain (or explain away) arguments and analysis that aren’t necessarily your own.
