I was really rooting for the Padres, so I decided to hedge a bet against my feelings this morning and wanted to parlay Dodgers + a Teoscar Hernandez homer. Only I clicked on the other Hernandez instead. And then I made my original bet as well, grumbling all the way.

It does kind of feel like the meteoric rise of Michael Strahan in media, to the point where he’s interviewing VP candidates, is the result of somebody saying “hey, look over there!” and then we never looked back for like a decade.
