The truly wild part to me is apparently the guy who used the AI results without confirming their accuracy has been practicing for more than *30 years*. AND he let someone file it as their own without telling them about the AI stuff?!?! (And the filer didn’t cite check the thing…)

Always check the citations. I learned that from a partner at the first firm I worked at and still do it all these years later.
