Well, no, it's not a separate person narrating in 3rd person, at least for me. It's my own voice talking, saying things as I exist. Like right now, I'm literally hearing my voice say the words I'm typing as I'm typing them. When I get frustrated with myself, I'll address "me", like "Come on, me."
