Palencia for the Supercopa, once more against our old friends from VRAC. Another really tight, intense game, with Burgos winning 38-28 after extra time. A really impressive performance all round
2 weeks of fiesta start in the village tomorrow, so after my ride this morning I was able to take advantage of the churros van which has set up on the main square.
Results of the European elections here in the village. I have absolutely no idea who the other person who voted for Ahora Repúblicas is. I might put up an advert and make a new friend 😃
See also (if you can bear it) Chris de Burgh, Lady in Red. He does "daaance" and "romaaaance"
Yesterday, Gill and I went out for a ride. Once you're 20 km from Burgos it's pretty much empty. And the couple of villages we did go through were still essentially mediaeval and outside of "Camino season" everything is shuttered up. The really scary thing though is the weather - 15° in mid February
And without wanting to jump on the T*yl*r Sw*ft bandwagon, I'm so glad I turn the tap off while I'm brushing my teeth
Well, she's done jumpers for everyone else in the family so she didn't want him feeling left out
Hamish MacBeef was starting to feel the cold so my infinitely better half and knitter extraordinaire has done him a wee jumper
If I remember correctly, we'd just put a collar on her and she was making her displeasure clear
