Used a GoCar Renault Captur at the weekend in Dublin and it was a scary experience. Massive touchscreen interface basically a big mobile phone in the dashboard. Deeply uncomfortable and dangerous to drive in my opinion.

Heading to a conference overseas this week. Doing so reluctantly. Wondering what my (now) 16 month old daughter will think of hundreds of people taking carbon intensive flights to a get together to talk about things like sustainable design when she’s say, 30 years old.
Dublins Parking Tag app charges 99c a month just to save a reg plate number in the app. When you add it, usually in a hurry, you get a warning, and then it’s done. Free money for them until you remember to log in to their website and delete. Scam. And likely not money the council ever sees.

Stupid inflation on the house I scraped to buy 6 years ago, now we plan to move across town and stupid inflation makes that “wealth” imaginary as we buy a new home. It’s a scam where only those with “spare” houses make money.
