Before they got the production lines running for the Pulsar frigates, they bolted the particle cannon onto Reliant chassisâs. Didnât work great, the power draw was way too high, radiators couldnât handle it, the gun itself messed with thrust really bad.

Theyâve been flying these Sentinel-class frigates around since before the Shattering. So yeah, theyâre old as fuck; donât matter though, a 64mm plasma-cored shell fired out of a coilgun is gonna do some damage, I can tell you that.
