These last two pics are of my mom in her wookie costume lol After my disasterous but hilarious photoshoot, I went from missing my mom to finding comfort and laughter in knowing that I am my mother's daughter!

Johnnie's Mom aka Wookie Mom wearing a full wookie costume and holding Johnnie's Zombie Whacker at the 2018 Indigenous Comic Con

And then after that things got weird. These were taken back in 2021, a few months after my mom died. The Wookie mask belonged to my mom, who was known as Wookie Mom after she trolled me at Indigenous Comic Con in 2018.

I was trying to recreate the movie poster for Boyhood and instead of looking thoughtful and introspective, I just look like a dead wookie 🤣🤣 #starwarsfails#wookie

Anyway you get the point. Please be safe and make considered decisions if you are in a safe enough situation that you can think and plan before you act.

It flows through farms (with animal waste holding ponds) and gas stations. Sewage treatment plants. It picks up stray animals and insects (alligators! Spiders! Fire ants! Whatever is local to you!) It is absolutely TEEMING with bacteria.

Storm water flows through sewers, cemeteries, hospitals (bio waste), oil refineries, city dumps…every disgusting and dangerous thing you can imagine. It’s not for swimming.

Ok folks there’s a massive storm and flooding so regular reminder, if at all possible and you can avoid it, DO NOT PUT YOUR BODY IN FLOOD WATER. Including these below there can also be open manholes that you can’t see and downed power lines. The water is going to pick up everything it touches.

Don't hide your quiet strength from the world. Sneak up on whaling ships from below, crush the timbers with your mightly tentacles, and drag the wreckage back down into the eternal darkness.

The partner and I decided my art sales will go toward getting to denver since that is my actual work and how I continue to get work and anything extra from sales will go towards our bills.
